This interview was originally taped during August of 2020 at the height of the pandemic and throughout it all, it seems our country, and our world, remain divided and torn. Spiritual teacher and visionary Michael Tamura talks about the waking up of humanity, and how the pandemic served as one more catalyst to spark this purpose. Michael reflects on how the uprisings and protests are all coming to the surface during this time. He talks about how we are all working out our karmic cycles.

Michael suggests through recognizing wholeness, we can heal the division. We can connect with no beginning and no ending into a state of pure limitlessness. Once we see past the quarrels of division, we can arrive at limitlessness and experience peace. Meditation and mindfulness practices are key.

As long as people keep looking outside for answers, they keep arguing and fighting. There is a natural state of peacefulness inside of all of us. It is possible to reach this state, but when people continue to blame and judge, they don’t see what’s inside. They look outside for happiness and stay in the illusion of it all.

Lisa and Michael talk about experiencing real inner truth and how to be in the present moment. Michael explains how suffering is based on conditions. When happiness is inside of us, it doesn’t matter what’s going on outside. We can start dreaming again. We can create something better.

We’ve all experienced the pain that comes from expectations that anything will return to normal, especially during the pandemic. But we all must learn to pivot and return to ourselves. The form may change, and we may not know what it looks like, but we can create it. We can form connections together and heal. This is Part 1 of the interview.

This interview was originally taped in August of 2020, and we air this today in honor of Michael Tamura, Master Teacher, Visionary, Spiritual Healer, Clairvoyant, and Pioneer in the field of psychic development. He made his transition in late October. His award-winning book, “You Are The Answer,” helps guide people to their true destiny and life purpose. Info: MichaelTamura.com

Would you like to be more in control of your thoughts and your life? Would you like to feel happier and healthier and know you are on a path of healing? Lisa continues the conversation today with chiropractor and holistic physician Dr. Darren Weissman. Dr Darren believes that if we can have rapport with our subconscious mind, we can drive it, rather than being driven by it.  We can create “mind-medicine” through our thoughts. We can go beyond everyday perception. He explains how the brain and the body don’t know the difference between memory, reality, or imagination. So, if you imagine yourself living the life of your dreams, you can begin to shift your reality. This opens a doorway, a portal, that allows us to trigger the reactive mind where it no longer reacts. We change the pattern.

Dr. Darren is the creator of The Lifeline Technique, which incorporates 16 various modalities of healing including Chinese medicine, Ayurvedic Medicine, applied kinesiology, and so much more. Through his profound understanding of various methods, he deeply explains the language and the steps of healing. It’s a way to interpret the subconscious mind. Ultimately, we are all asked to take responsibility for our healing. He suggests we rest, eat well, drink water, exercise, and be responsible for doing these healthy acts.

He explains how the body innately has the capacity to heal itself. The subconscious mind is energy. Thoughts are energy. The conscious mind is the active mind. The subconscious is the re-active mind. It is a “copy” and its role is to protect in the present moment. When it gets triggered, the subconscious mind is activated. Emotions play a key role. Dr. Darren further explains his work with Dr. Masaru Emoto and the influence of emotions over water, and therefore our health.

Dr Darren talks about the Philosophy of The Lifeline Technique and shares how “every problem is a portal to the next greatest version of yourself!” Dormant greatness lies within us all. Through healing, we have an opportunity to awaken. Our very nature is one of healing. Your choice is how to react and respond.

He reminds us that we all have the ability to respond with Infinite Love and Gratitude. We can change the patterns which trigger us. Acceptance, forgiveness, and compassion can begin to happen. We can remember the love which we are here to be.

With best-selling books such as “The Power of Infinite Love & Gratitude,” “Awakening to the Secret Code of Your Mind,” “The Heart of the Matter,” and his children's book, “The Daily Lessons of Infinite Love & Gratitude,” Dr. Darren’s insightful writings have touched the lives of many seeking personal growth and healing. His contributions can also be found in Dr. Masaru Emoto's best-selling book, “The Healing Power of Water.”

In addition to his written works, Dr. Darren has appeared in films such as "E-Motion," "Making Mankind," "Beyond Belief," and the award-winning documentary "HEAL."  Through coaching, online courses, and certifications, Dr. Darren equips others with the tools and knowledge to facilitate profound shifts and lasting healing. With his expertise, guidance, and compassionate approach, he empowers individuals to embrace their true potential to awaken the dormant greatness within.

Are you struggling with unhealthy habits? Do you feel like your life is often chaotic? Do you feel like you are heading toward the point of no return? Our guest today offers empowering advice to feel better and more in control. Chiropractic and holistic physician Dr. Darren Weissman helps people remember what we’ve been “programmed,” unconsciously, to forget. Dr. Darren is a visionary thinker and leading expert in consciousness. He is a world-renowned healer who developed the Lifeline Technique and can help us all uncover the unconscious patterns which may be running our lives.

On one level, the subconscious mind controls our beating hearts, the blinking of our eyes, and the protective patterns that keep our systems working. The subconscious mind protects us in the moment, but sometimes we get stuck in past negative emotions and feelings, which may result in health challenges and crises.

Dr. Darren has developed the Lifelife Technique flow chart that shows how systems work together including Chinese medicine, Ayurvedic medicine, applied kinesiology, color and sound therapy, and various healing modalities. He has taught this healing method throughout the world to thousands of people.

When memories are triggered, we don’t even realize that it’s a memory. Our systems keep track of these things, but the brain and the body don’t realize that it is just a memory. They think it’s real. Our bodies are naturally designed to heal, but why are we sometimes anxious, depressed, or sick? It may be because you are being driven by your much younger self, where pain may be stuck.

Dr. Darren explains how we can bridge the gap between the conscious and unconscious mind. The more disconnected you feel, the bigger the sign that you must “Wake Up.” Any trauma can be processed if we are open to it. It can be a doorway, and it’s a step-by-step process using new integration of numerous modalities. This can change and activate the neuroplasticity and epigenetics of a person. All the types of holistic healing and science can come together, and Lifeline utilizes 16 different techniques running at the same time. We all have the ability to respond with Infinite Love and Gratitude!

Are positive affirmations true? And, if not, how can we convince ourselves otherwise? How can we tap into the superpowers of our brains? Lisa continues the conversation today with NYT bestselling author, business expert, and international speaker John Assaraf who has proven that it is possible to create new neural pathways and talks about how anyone can learn to utilize the power of our brains.

To break limiting beliefs, John talks about affirming the possibility, even if it doesn’t seem like the current reality. This is a way to set up the frequency. Like a tiny acorn has the potential to become a giant Oak tree, positive affirmations can plant a seed in the brain. When there’s a disconnect between the affirmation and current reality, an untrained mind might say, “But that’s not true! I haven’t lost weight, or I don’t have lots of money in my bank account.” The wise mind asks to change our reality and see possibilities. We can become in charge of our brain. We can affirm the seeds of a new image and then a new reality. John explains that even if it’s not real right now, we can still plant the thought in our mind to develop roots. We can practice and make it “feel” real at the moment. Then, as we move toward that reality, we can take one action step each day to move toward that goal.

How do you think it, imagine it, then behave in ways to make it reality? John explains that we are all living in a sea of energy -- a quantum field of sending and receiving. We can choose our thoughts and feel that we are worthy of success. We can believe it, then achieve it. We can tune our minds in a similar way that we can tune into certain frequencies. Visualization, positive self-talk, and positive affirmations can all be very helpful. Remember the possibilities. Brain entrainment can help to raise your thoughts and raise your frequency so you can have unstoppable success!

John is one of the leading high performance, success coaches in the world. He is a behavioral neuroscience researcher who has written four books including two NYT bestsellers. He has been featured in 11 movies, including “The Secret” and "Quest For Success" with Richard Branson and the Dalai Lama. Today, he is CEO of MyNeuroGym.com, a neuroscience-based company, dedicated to helping individuals strengthen their mindset and skills, so they achieve their goals and dreams. This is Part 2 of the interview.

Have you or someone you know been diagnosed with cancer? Statistics say one in two women, and one in three men, will be given that diagnosis at some point in their life. Our guest today, author and health coach, Chris Wark was just 26 years old when doctors discovered a golf-ball size tumor in his colon. After surgery, Chris decided that he would go against his oncologist’s advice and not take part in chemotherapy or radiation. After deep prayer and consideration, he decided that he would radically change his diet and explore natural healing modalities. Diet and lifestyle therapy show that healing can indeed occur. So why would doctors not share this information? Could it be because of the pharmaceutical industry and their influence? Traditional Western doctors are not typically required to study nutrition as part of their training. In Part 1 of today’s interview, Chris Wark shares his findings and offers hope to help those struggling with disease. Info: ChrisBeatCancer.com.

Would you like to tap into the superpower of your brain? Do you believe you can change your mindset and achieve unstoppable success? Our guest today, NYT bestselling author, business expert, and international speaker John Assaraf has proven that it is possible to create new neural pathways and shares how anyone can learn to utilize the power of our brains.

John talks about the program he developed called “Innercise,” which is like a fitness gym for the brain, as well as his brand-new app. He explains how chemicals flow in our brain, including what happens if there is brain trauma or a painful event such as failure or loss. He explains how we may keep recreating it over and over and how we may get into a  “Doom Loop.” If we think about what we don’t want, we are actually releasing the sequence. The great news though is that we can “flip the switch” and ask ourselves, “How can I get better? How can I activate the positive, empowering neurons so I can manage the situation better and create a new pattern?”

According to John, anyone can do this. We can all increase awareness of our thoughts and behaviors. We can practice being more aware. We can stop and breathe for a few minutes and just notice the lighting and sound. Notice what’s going on around you. Activate your awareness as a “neural” muscle. Our feelings, thoughts, and behaviors are mostly non-conscious and are based on old patterns. Once we notice this, we can place our attention elsewhere. Energy flows to where attention goes. So, do you find yourself focusing on what you want? Or do you tend to go toward what you don’t want? Each thought increases the frequency of things that may or may not serve us.

Luckily, we all have choice and the ability to choose our next thought. We can flip our emotional state. We have the ability to stop and ask ourselves if there is a better way. Through self-reflection, you realize you can shift your self-talk. You can manage your emotional state. You can deliberately choose what you are going to do.

John shares how you can release fear and create empowering, constructive beliefs. We can “rewire” our brain for immense success, optimal health, and anything else we may want to achieve.

Now you can become the master of your own life!

We’ve all been hearing so much about futuristic technologies, but what will the coming Age of AI mean for us, especially as spiritual beings? If it is a looming crisis, how can we get through the challenges and find deeper perspectives? To address these issues, Lisa continues the conversation today with spiritual teacher and author Derek Rydall. Derek has spent literally hundreds of hours studying AI over the past several years and knows it is accelerating at an unprecedented pace. He talks about the importance of what he calls the “hand-crafted” human and explains the importance of getting back to our roots through community and nature. He believes that simplicity is beautiful and that there are a handful of principles and practices that have been somewhat voluntary up to this point, self-help and spirituality included, but explains they will all become a matter of survival. We need to look within and get back to our roots.

He talks about how the world is so interconnected. Americans have long taken advantage of development and now other countries are advancing their technology as well. There is the threat of millions upon millions of people losing their jobs because of Artificial Intelligence.

The solution to this is to consider: What is it about me that’s irreplaceable? We need to ask ourselves that question. Evolution has been asking us to ask ourselves that. What’s truly unique about you?

In the world of just trying to survive and make ends meet, we’ve not had the opportunity to ask ourselves the deep question – Who am I really? Derek believes we have to “Know Ourselves” as an obligation. It is now a matter of survival. And we must have the courage to be true to that self. There are so many ways we compromise – we don’t want to be judged. We don’t want to be too big. We don’t want to risk scrutiny. We don’t want to fail, etc. but we must have the courage and commitment now to know ourselves and be in integrity with ourselves. What’s been planted in the seeds of our soul? Do we have the right conditions to emerge?

We don’t want to be apathetic during this time. A maturing is trying to happen. It’s not about making money or having your book hit the best-seller list. We are at a choice point in humanity.

Derek offers solutions and asks us to aim for a life of integrity. He explains that “Awakening is not guaranteed.” It’s like the charge you feel before a storm. We are in chaos, but we are designed to make greater order out of the chaos.

Derek himself has experienced tremendous loss and challenge in the last decade. He has come to the understanding that we have to grow our roots deeper to expand higher. It is a message of hope. Immense crisis or transformation asks us to ground our roots deeper. We can all take responsibility for ourselves to be the best version we can become. Something new emerges after the ashes. The important truth to remember is that we are indestructible. To fulfill our potential, we must go through the tuning in process. It is the most hopeful time now, and if humanity can come together, we can solve crises including our climate crisis. We can aim for higher goals. We can evolve into fully conscious beings. Life is meant to have a sense of awe and wonder! This is Part 2 of the interview. For FREE SUPPORT TOOLS and more info, visit: https://derekrydall.com/

Wisdom is a universal language. Insightful parables are found throughout various cultures in history which offer wisdom about how to live a fuller life, being in harmony with nature, and abiding by universal energies and principles. Gods and Goddesses throughout literature emulate many of these qualities. These stories are based on ancient texts, with an esoteric approach, rather than literal, explains our guest today, Obadiah Harris, Ph.D. (now deceased). Dr. Harris was the President of the Philosophical Research Society, founded by Manly P. Hall, and had combined his skills as a community educator and administrator with the study of the world’s wisdom traditions. He explains how these stories and traditions ask us to see the inner meaning. He explains how esotericism is an attempt to release the individual from a literal hold. Esoteric movements today are moving away from literalism. People are searching for answers and looking for what works. If we look within, we can explore and find our own truth.

Dr. Harris received his Ph.D. in Education from the University of Michigan as a Stewart Mott Foundation Fellow. His work in community education includes service as Associate Professor and Director of the Center for Community Education at New Mexico State University, and as Associate Professor and Director of the Regional Center for Community Education at Arizona State University. Dr. Harris’s study and practice of the great Eastern and Western traditions has helped shape and direct his life. Info: www.prs.org

We’ve all been hearing so much lately about Artificial Intelligence. Some tech experts tout is as revolutionary, while others are deeply concerned about the impact and dangers, especially surrounding the ethics and lack of regulations and laws.

What will the coming Age of AI mean for us, especially as spiritual beings? If it is a looming crisis, how can we get through the challenges and find deeper perspectives?

Spiritual teacher and best-selling author Derek Rydall is no stranger to crisis. He has experienced loss at all levels, including the unimaginable loss of a child, his marriage, and his finances and business. Through all of the crises he has endured, he had managed to deeply examine his beliefs as a soul on the planet at this time. He joins us today to share his wisdom and offer possibilities.

Derek believes that when life squeezes us, it brings out what’s really in us. Do we rise as heroes or heroines? Are we living a life of possibilities? Or are we existing with a sense of loneliness and isolation? He talks about the pandemic, with its multiple levels of loss and challenges, and asks us what did we consciously decide to make of it? We are still experiencing the reverberations as a society.

We may still be reeling from the pandemic, and now tech experts are warning us about the repercussions of AI. Derek has spent time studying AI for the past several years and knows it is accelerating at an unprecedented pace.

Derek also talks about a profound message that came to him during a deep meditation when he heard, “Build the Ark, the flood is coming.” He has spent literally hundreds of hours studying about the “flood” of AI that’s approaching. It is not a message of doom; it is a message asking us to prepare. He says we are in an “Oppenheimer Moment.” We have the ability to destroy our world as this may be an existential threat OR it may be a tremendous opportunity to create peace, prosperity, health, and balance on our planet. AI will have a massive effect on music, books, artwork, and creative projects. And there are no laws yet around this. We will be flooded with content, and it will lose all meaning. AI can map all podcasts, all artists, and find out patterns that people respond to and companies will own the content. Derek also talks about Deep Fake videos. At this point, there will not be a way to know the difference. We already have massive amounts of available content and soon we will have ten times more. We will not know if it’s real audio or real video. This will affect our elections and it will become virtually impossible to know what’s real and what’s not.

How will this affect our relationships and trust? This is no longer Science Fiction. But Derek reminds us that we still have a couple of years. It’s time to prepare now. If you want to build your purpose and your life’s work, the time to grow it is now. The job impact, the economic impact, the mental health impact, and so much more cannot be underestimated. Yet rather than fall from the impact of AI, we can have it be a catalyst for evolution. This is Part 1 of the interview. Info: https://derekrydall.com/

Today’s show originally aired on Sept 11, 2020, the 19th anniversary of one of American’s darkest days. To shed light and understanding about the collective grief and trauma so many faced, we are joined by spiritual teacher and best-selling author Guy Finley. Guy is the Founder of Life of Learning Foundation and the best-selling author of “Letting Go,” “The Secret of Letting Go,” and more than 25 other books. His books have sold millions of copies in multiple languages worldwide. Today he talks about how to look at tragedy and specifically addresses 9/11 and the pain that ensued. He shares how 9/11 changed us and also taught us resilience. He asks us to ask ourselves have we learned the lesson in that pain, both as a nation and as a collection of individuals? And if we have not, then did that event unite us in a new understanding? Or did it divide us further?

Whether a national tragedy or a personal situation, how can we learn the lesson of pain? When we come upon a tragedy, it may also divide us further. Lisa and Guy talk about Covid, mask-wearing, and how to begin to heal the division among us.

Guy deeply examines the nature of “Blame” and how it is so difficult for us not to blame. Typically, the first reaction to tragedy is to point the finger. After 9/11, our freedoms were affected literally overnight.  Who is to blame? If tragedy doesn’t change us, it becomes vague. What did this situation reveal to us about ourselves? What freedoms have we taken for granted? Prior to 9/11, security was much different at the airports.

How can we use these unwanted moments? Do we go into panic? Guy says there is no psychological fear without negative imagination. So commonly, the pain makes us place blame. When we can recognize it, we can realize it serves no purpose to blame. We can liberate ourselves from a mind with a negative imagination.

We can liberate our minds from the past. We can realize that each moment is new.  There is a way to train ourselves to process the negativity. This is a different level of consciousness. The solution to the suffering is to realize that the pain has no idea what to do. We cannot buy into the negativity and continue to place blame. We must change as individuals before we can see change in our world.

Guy asks us to consider, “What is your relationship with the Divine?” In the moment when there’s a problem or pain, when we resist it, we are resisting our reaction to it. It seems to threaten us. When we resist, we feel attacked. It’s a misunderstanding of the event. So, how do you illuminate the event to come to a new conclusion?

Silence can help. If anxiety is guiding you, then fear and negativity are the rulers at that moment. Anger, fear, and worry all lead us toward negativity. What we give our attention to is what we are in relationship with. This guides our experience.

If we are afraid, there’s something that believes the fear is real. According to Guy, “The fear is real but the ‘Why’ is a ‘Lie.’” Our lower brain creates a response of tension. Guy offers prayers to allow the Divine to let us know the truth. He also teaches free classes online twice a week. Info: GuyFinley.org  and GuyFinley.org/online for free classes.

Do you sometimes feel overwhelmed or depressed? Did you know if you feel overwhelmed, you may have an underlying need for clarity? Would you like to be a better communicator and able to express and understand these needs? To further explain the concept of “needs-based” communication, Lisa continues her conversation today with Communications Specialist and Expert Coach Bill Stierle. Bill explains the importance of generating empathy before immediately offering ideas and solutions.

He also discusses the ideas of trauma, mourning, and celebration. He believes that trauma prevents us from mourning. If we cannot fully mourn, then we also cannot eventually celebrate. He asks us to examine these feelings. Bill is also an expert Parenting Coach and invites us to find out why children may say, “No” as a response to what you are asking. By being empathetic and compassionate first, this will help you determine their missing needs.

Bill Stierle has been working with individuals, couples, and families for more than 30 years. He has coached thousands of people and has taught numerous workshops locally and nationally on topics that address personal and professional effectiveness, relationships, and parenting. The material Bill presents is designed for people who want to create more ease and effectiveness within their relationships, both at home and work. His latest book is “The Emotional Sobriety Solution: Have More Joy in Your Life in Less Than 30 Days.” This is Part 2 of the interview. Info: BillStierle.com.

Did you know that the #1 reason couples break up is because of lack of communication? Did you know miscommunication happens very frequently in the workplace too? Would you like to be a better communicator all around? Our guest today is Communications Specialist and Expert Coach Bill Stierle, who talks deeply about the subject of “needs-based” communication. Bill has a groundbreaking way of understanding language and coaches people to communicate in healthy, compassionate, and productive ways.

Today Bill talks about thinking, learning, and communication styles based on the “Herrmann Brain Dominance Model” and the “Needs-Based Communication” technique. He helps us with our ability to develop communication and compassion. He and Lisa discuss various types of communication including parenting skills and how to effectively communicate with children and other family members.

Bill advises us to be empathic first, especially before starting to make suggestions and offer solutions. He says to “guess” what the person may be feeling, and what they may be missing. He suggests repeating what the person says for clearer understanding.

Bill also suggests using the word “torn” several times a day and asking someone, “Could you be feeling ‘torn’?” For example, that can be a source of miscommunication. Maybe you want to go out and have fun, but you know you have work to do first. This leads to a feeling of being “torn.”

They also discuss how division in this country appears to be at an all-time high. And each side believes their needs are most important. We tend to “manage” feelings rather than addressing them. Through needs-based communication, you try to find the word for the feeling that’s arising. Bill explains that feelings are only indicators. They are neither positive nor negative. They indicate what emotion is happening. He offers tips for observation to help determine what the need may be.

Basic needs include the need for Choice. You can practice by clarifying the choice. Ask someone, for example, if they would prefer to go see a movie, or would they rather stay home and order dinner? Or are they torn? Consideration, trust, truth, respect, creativity, and acknowledgement are all very common needs.

His latest book is “The Emotional Sobriety Solution: Have More Joy in Your Life in Less Than 30 Days.” This is Part 1 of the interview. Info: https://www.billstierle.com/

Do you believe that your mind plays a role in healing? Are you familiar with the power of positive affirmations? Today’s guest fully believes in the power of the mind and what an incredible honor it is to have on the show mega-bestselling author of “You Can Heal Your Life” Louise Hay. She is also the founder of the world’s largest self-help publishing company, Hay House.  Today she’s talking with Lisa about the movie “You Can Heal Your Life” which contains hours of footage and plenty of positive affirmations that you, too, can use to heal your life.

Louise discusses her journey with cancer and how she took a positive approach to turn toward optimal health. She made the decision that she would heal her life and life brought her people who were all able to help including nutritionists, teachers, and others. After six months, the medical community declared her cancer-free. Her diet and affirmations were so important, but most importantly Louise says she learned to forgive. After a very challenging childhood filled with abuse, she knew she was carrying resentment and knew she needed to release it. She looked into the childhoods of her parents and realized they both came from very difficult places and passed along what they learned. This was the key to forgiving them both. She talks about affirmations which heal including, “All is well”; “Only good will come of this”; “Everything is working out for my highest good”;  and “I am safe.” This is Part 1 of the conversation, and we air this in her honor. Louise Hay made her transition on Aug 31, 2017, at the age of 90. Info: HayHouse.com and LouiseHay.com

Do you often feel stressed? Does worry affect your sleep? Did you know stress can also influence the health of our brain? Today’s guest, Dr. Nancy Lonsdorf, explains the importance of getting good nighttime rest as a way to strengthen our brains and immune systems.  Dr Lonsdorf is an integrative physician and Ayurvedic practitioner who specializes in Women’s Health & Executive Wellness.

She was named “one of the nation’s most prominent Ayurvedic doctors” by the Chicago Tribune and received her medical degree from the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine and residency training in psychiatry at Stanford University.

You can have a good memory and sharp mind even at an older age. Yet, sleep may become much more fragmented as we get older. This is our most restorative time and it’s important for the cleansing, circulation system in our brain to flush and build our immune system. As an author, speaker, and educator she shares her knowledge today in women’s health, brain health, and executive wellness so we can have optimal brain energy and clarity.

Dr. Lonsdorf is the bestselling author of four groundbreaking books on integrative health and wellness, including: “The Healthy Brain Solution for Women Over 40,” “The Ageless Woman,” and co-author of “A Woman’s Best Medicine” and “Your Mind-Brain Reboot.”
